We’re launching an entirely new source of clean, domestically produced transportation fuels as the world’s first producer of low-carbon fuels made from landfill waste. Our fuel will help the aviation industry achieve their carbon reduction goals while simultaneously reducing the waste going into landfills. We've started operations at our first plant - and we have big plans for the future.

In December 2022, our Sierra BioFuels Plant – the world’s first commercial-scale landfill waste to low-carbon transportation fuels plant – successfully produced a low-carbon synthetic crude oil from landfill waste. This was a tremendous achievement for Fulcrum and a first in the renewable fuels industry. And we’re just getting started. We’ve secured landfill waste, have fuel offtake agreements in place and are advancing on more than ten future plants across the U.S. designed to produce net-zero carbon transportation fuels. And we’re not stopping there. We’re also working on international opportunities in select countries, including the U.K, Mexico, Australia, South Korea and Japan.
