Partners

Fulcum was founded in 2007 by James A.C. McDermott, the Managing Partner of US Renewables Group, to pioneer the development of a reliable and efficient process for converting garbage into renewable transportaion fuel.

Since 2007, Fulcrum has developed an incredible set of partners up and down the value chain – from funding to feedstock, from production to off-take. These partnerships have set the table for explosive growth for Fulcrum.  We are well funded with an incredible management team and strong technology. Our long-term feedstock agreements give us the raw materials to produce hundreds of millions of gallons of fuel for our various purchasers.

Since its founding in 2007, Fulcrum BioEnergy has been backed by two of the leading venture capital firms in the clean technology space and is well-positioned to execute on its aggressive, national plan to build waste-to-biofuel plants across 19 states that will produce more than 700 million gallons of domestic, clean advanced biofuels.
